N.J. Exterminator’s New Books Helps Consumers Take The Bite Out of Bed Bugs
Dec 05, 2010 – Bed bugs have made a serious comeback in the United States hitting a number of retail stores and movie theaters in New York and across the country.
Well, one exterminator from Edison, New Jersey has taken it upon himself to educate consumers on how they can bite back!
Scott Linde, a 25-year veteran in the extermination industry, just authored a new book entitled, Bite Back! A No Nonsense Guide to Beating Bed Bugs At Their Own Game.
The book provides consumers with practical advice on how to prevent bed bugs from terrorizing their homes. Mr. Linde takes the reader on an inside journey through the history of bed bugs and some of the industry’s most common practices to combat these foes.
He also reveals to consumers the right questions that they need ask potential exterminators before they decide to hire them for bed bug eradication.
“Bed bugs are not like any other pests. They require professional help from an exterminator with knowledge and experience in handling bed bug infestations,” says Linde.
Mr. Linde should know because he has completed over 2000 Bed Bug applications throughout his career. Because of the spike in bed bug cases throughout the New York/New Jersey tri-state area, Mr. Linde has been flooded with phone calls to his office from consumers seeking help.
“Although I may not be able to service everyone who calls my office, particularly if they are in other parts of the country or in Canada, I can educate them with my book about the appropriate steps they need to take to tackle their bed bug problems,” explains Linde.
Earlier this year, Mr. Linde participated in the first annual North American Bed Bug Summit that took place in Chicago. The conference drew industry experts from all over the country to discuss strategies to address this bed bug epidemic.
